The Chalet Operations Manager is the central hub of our luxury chalet operation and plays a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring seamless behind-the-scenes resort operations.
You will be responsible for coordinating guest services closely with the Concierge, overseeing logistics and maintenance, managing operational budgets, and ensuring the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness, safety, and service are maintained at all times.
At the heart of the operation, you will work alongside a dedicated leadership team comprising the Chalet Operations Manager, Resort Concierge, Head of Front of House, and Executive Chef. Together, you will be responsible for delivering a seamless, world-class guest experience while leading and supporting the wider chalet team.
- EU Passport or valid EU work entitlement.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in luxury hospitality.
- Previous experience within luxury ski chalets, villas, five-star hotels, private households, yachts, or similar environments.
- Previous team leadership and management experience.
- Experience managing guest expectations at a luxury level.
- Confident driving larger vehicles, vans, or SUVs in alpine winter conditions.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Must be fluent in French & English.
- Available for the full winter season.

Part of: Méribel Resort Management Team
As In-Resort Concierge you sit at the centre of the guest experience, the connection between what a guest books and what they actually feel during their stay. You work as part of a four-person resort management team alongside the Executive Chef, Head of Front of House, and Chalet Operations Manager. Together you are collectively responsible for the commercial and experiential success of the Méribel season.
This is not a reactive role. You are proactive, commercially sharp, socially magnetic, and fluent in French. You plan ahead, communicate constantly, and take genuine pride in creating moments guests talk about long after they've left the mountain.
- Based locally in Méribel or the Tarentaise valley
- Fluent in French and English, you will use both every day
- EU passport or valid French work permit
- Available for the full season,
- Experience: Minimum two years in luxury hospitality, luxury ski chalet, 5-star hotel, Michelin-starred restaurant, or superyacht
- Demonstrable experience in a guest-facing concierge or hosting role
- Commercially confident, you have sold premium services to high-net-worth guests and you are comfortable doing it

Our resort team is at the heart of the guest experience, representing Armadillo throughout the resort and delivering luxury service to the highest standard.
As Chalet Host, you lead the in-chalet hosting experience for your guests. You read what they need, often before they say it, and you make sure every day of their stay has the right warmth and pace. Alongside this, you oversee housekeeping in your chalet and provide guest driving services within the resort.
This role combines hands-on hosting with operational oversight, and the flexibility to adapt to the daily demands of a luxury ski resort.
